Is all of South Dakota actually supporting this guy? I mean, there has to be at least 34 people living in that state. Surely half of 'em will come around and vote this guy to be sent off to North Dakota.

All I know is that I've never held up a sign or said boo, but I've seen plenty of people with shouting in front of me "MY BODY MY CHOICE" like I give a crap.

Exactly. You saying you'd rather have a doctor operate on you whose never read a book on the subject? More power to ya then, let me know how those Caribbean hospitals are.

A live human being.

As such they believe abortion is murder.

Before you say, "omg thats ridiculous" or something remember that science isn't conclusive on this matter, its mostly a philosphical and religious argument - at what point does it go from one person to two?

You clearly have been on a liberal college campus for too long and havent stopped to listen to out what the other side is saying. A lot of people, on both sides, do that. The thing is I think once you do listen to what the other side is saying you become far far far more unclear in your own views.

See? This is exactly what I'm talking about. Each side just spouts out whatever line they've latched on to without knowing jack shit about the real debate from either end. It gets so muddled by the extremes with their "pro-life" or "pro-choice" marketing campaigns that no one really knows what they believe. That's why I'm continuing my call that we shouldn't re-open Pandora's Box. None of you want the real debate. Hell, for a long time *I* didn't want the real debate.

It's really not that complicated.
If you believe X, then you think it's wrong.
If you believe Y, then you don't.
No amount of evidence or logic is going to convince someone with an opinion on either side to change it.

I'm more interested in the implications that abortion rights have on other issues.
For example...
If bringing a child to term or not is the mother's choice, then why should the father be forced to support the child?
If it's okay to kill a fetus, then is it also okay to expose unborn children to harmful drugs and chemicals?
Is it okay to euthenise premature babies? What about children whose development is so stunted that they can't understand or feel pain?
If a woman can hire a doctor to abort another person simply because it's her body, then how can anyone justify depriving someone the right to assisted suicide?
