JACKSON UPDATE!
This dog turns salmon pink on his skin when he gets warm/when he's sleeping. He's like one of those color change dolls.

He got those staples in his eyelids. I forgot to take a pic of him in the cone.

This picture was taken in the middle of the night. I got up to pee and Jackson took my spot. My bed is the only furniture he goes on because I kinda like him sleeping with me when my girl is away, but he gets right in between us when she's here.

He weights 32 pounds now at about 5 months and a week or so. He behaves like a much older dog, and knows sit, stay, lie down, come, roll over, paw, and other paw. He's super chill, just relaxes most of the day unless you get him riled up to play. Taking him to the dog park is crucial, he can go for hours and then plops out exhausted for the rest of the day.

Why'd he have staples in his eye?
Kingoffighters: He loves to play and can go for hours but unless you want to play with him he pretty much entertains himself with chew toys or chases his tail, or naps. He loves to be in the same room with you so he'll pretty much follow you everywhere with whatever toy he's got.
At the dog park he's fearless and goes up against any size dog. He's played with 150+ pounders before, trying to knock their legs out from under them. He doesn't really fetch well but he loves to play "get the thing" and "chase me with the thing" and "I'm gonna chase you with your thing" and "race to the thing" with you. You know. So he's not just a lazybones, he's just chill.
Nomi: He had to get staples because that lower eyelid was growing into his eye (entropion) and the eyelashes were scratching up his corneas and causing irritation.
ALSO: In that second picture it looks like he's got crazy white whiskers sticking out all by themselves but the truth is he's truly black-and-white everywhere. There are a bunch of whiskers there that are pure black. Same with his toenails, he's got white and black ones, so he looks super goofy unless you look close.
