Scooter shed last night, and I got a few pics of him in action. Look how bright and colorful his new coat is under the old one!
It really is amazing to watch- he starts rubbing his nose on rough surfaces in the tank to cause a little rip in the old scales, then he shimmys out of the old skin like a sock. It all comes off in one piece.
