I really like this, Finchie. The clown lamp is my favorite touch.
The only real complaint i have is that the light shining from the window onto the bed is perfectly straight and angled, rather than following the contours of the bed.
The fact this was all done with colored fucking pencils is what's really amazing.
I had a similar lamp as a child and only remembered it recently when i saw a lamp just like it in someone's room. For the character in the pic, i'm trying to remember what things were like when i was young, and it's bringing up all kinds of old memories.Quote:

Yeah, i'm not entirely happy with it either, but i'm done with the picture. After i finished coloring i realized it was not what i wanted, but with the material it's a one-shot thing that i feel trying to correct would be more likely to ruin it all.Quote:

Prismacolor pencils (what i use) have been really good to me. You can get a really creamy quality when you combine them with linseed oil and push the ever living shit out of the pencils.Quote:

I enjoy Finch's art. I agree with whoever said he needs to make books for the childrens.
HOORAY! After 2 straight weeks of working on this... IT'S DONE! MAYBE! all photoshop this time. next will be illustrator, and then maybe another traditional piece.
