Here is a write-up but it must be outdated because the styrofoam bowl of heaven on my desk has signficantly lower sodium and saturated fat.
You can cook it IN the cup itself! FUCKING BRILLIANT. I'm about to eat my first one right now. Pics and impressions to come.

They give you twice the noodles of a normal cup ramen. And Flavor Enhancer!

So last night I went on a 7-11 run and like always, I prowled the shelves for something that would satisfy my immense hunger and still cost less than the change in my pocket.
Bags of chips, cold sandwiches, slurpees...none of them really seemed to promise the satisfaction of a full, hot meal that would leave me satisfied. I pressed my nose longingly against the glass of the freezer, staring down those three dollar frozen pizzas.
I was just turning around to begin a dejected walk home when lo, on the shelf I spy something taken driectly out of my dreams. A double-size cup of Ramen in an exotic tomato-garlic flavor shining happily under the fluorescent lights, the only one left. "Everything will be okay," it seemed to be saying.
The first thing you'll notice about it is how much larger it is than an ordinary cup of noodles. I've provided some common household objects for reference.

I took it downstairs and removed the plastic wrap, carefully setting aside the mysterious Finishing Touch.

What sensual goodness awaited me inside that small package? With a name like Finishing Touch, I lapsed into a daydream of an unusually happy ending. Stifling my curiosity, I returned to the cup, lovingly peeling back the lid to reveal the meat of my meal to come.

First, I opened the boullion, releasing the most tantalizing tomatoey/garlic scent I ever had the pleasure of smelling.

Next I added the unnecessary but appreciated dried "goodies." These vegetables and shrimps were but icing on the cake, as always.

I filled it to the line inside with water from the sink, and just threw the entire cup into the microwave. None of that bogus "Boil water and then pour and let sit" nonense. Like I have the equipment to boil water separately of my cup of noodles!
After it came out, I added the (Liquid!) Flavor Enhancer. It looked like Soy Sauce, but I didn't think to taste it, so I still am not sure what it is for. http://www.the-nextlevel.com/board/a...id=18834&stc=1
The finished product looked so tasty, I could hardly refrain from gobbling it all down right there in the dorm kitchen, but I managed somehow to get back to my room.

It was as delicious as I had hoped. Creamier and with a richer flavor than an ordinary cup of noodles, and a seemingly neverending supply.
I'd liken it to a 100 length cigarette. Not quite as much as a true double cup of noodles, but almost perfect for that late night snack/quick cigarette break when one cup simply won't do. Add to that a better-tasting boullion mix and the ease of in-cup cooking, I will never return to ordinary cups of noodles again!
4.5 out of 5 stars. Docked a half point for Nissin's continually disappointing dried peas.

Yeah, I was reading through the article trying to figure out what was so amazing. Look past the Safeway Maruchan and Nissin junk and join us in the present.
Maruchan just started distributing instant Yakisoba around here... Had one the other night, pretty good stuff.
I miss Nissin's Mug Noodles. :(
I havent had ramen since September 2003.
