Lara Croft is a good name? I always thought it was just....there.

The only names that come to mind are Storm Eagle from MMX1 and the Kaiser Dragon from the BoF games

Fatman is probably the best name in all of gaming.

Eggman. Actually, I don't know if its the name, or Sonic's terrible voice actor saying it.

• Marina Lightyears is definitely the best name ever.

Higharolla Kockamamie is only mentioned in the manual and not in-game, so it doesn't count either (the final boss is actually a robotic Big Boss).

Well, they're both pop-culture references.

Running Man = an Arnold Schwarzenegger film.
Coward Duck = Howard the Duck.

That doesn't make them any less stupid though, but at least you get an idea where they come from. The new names from Subsistence are pretty stupid as well though (Shotmaker, Black Ninja, Jungle Evil, Night Fright).

Sinna Neutlarva Sinner is the awesomest too, from Silhouette Mirage j-version. Shyna Nera Shyna's not half as cool.

I see references to it, but I have no idea where it comes from. There's absolutely no way that you would write what should reasonably be NyuToRaRuBa as NeRa (Shyaina instead of Shiina is a stretch too). I won't buy it until I see something remotely affiliated with the game reference it that way. WTF is a Neutlarva anyway?

I always thought it sounded demonic, but there's a little behind it.
I think one page quotes the "Neut" part as a play on words. The mythological nonsense behind Newt is that newts are lizards born from fire, thus being evil sin-born or something creatures. Neut is also part of Neutral, meaning that Shaina has no real affiliation. And then of course larva is young, incomplete, like Shaina herself. And neutlarva. Come on, that's totally an ingrediant for a witch's potion.
It does make more sense than Shaina, going with the games wacky view on Judeo-Christianity, or whatever the hell it is.

I like Shyna, or Shaina, or whatever it is, just in a different way than Sinna. It's cuter, more feminine. Resurection!

Just be sure that while you're going through Longfellow you don't forget about Balzac. It's a common mistake made by people, but Longfellow and Balzac go hand-in-hand.

Yeah, but you're forgetting people who are very sensitive about their Balzac. I don't think they'd appreciate this "squeezing" you speak of. When I go at my Balzac, I like to do it gently. Nice and slow. Low-lighting like candles works well. Maybe do it in the bathtub.

Different strokes for different folks. I guess it's because my Balzac was a library copy so it's been around. Having been loved and handled vigorously for generations, this Balzac knows how to take a good beating.
