First time I've really been able to go out and party on St Patricks Day, so tonight is gonna be a blast. Got plenty o beer in the fridge and some fine Irish Whiskey for the evening. The only thing this evening is missing is a Shamrock Shake. So what is everyone elses plans for the evening?

Watching "A History of Violence" on DVD with my girlfriend and drinking vodka mixed with orange soda. I might also play with the Star Wars Transformers I had no choice but to pick up yesterday. I'm getting old.

What I dislike about St Patrick's day is that all of a sudden half the world is Irish, or part Irish or whatever, and then decide to celebrate their "nation's" saints day.
I think it's a dumb excuse to get drunk; but a reason good enough.

I got really sick. Just threw up even though I stopped drinking at like, Midnight. I don't understand it at all.
Then again I felt like I had a fever all night and when I vom'ed the fever broke. I think it may have been some questionable dining hall food, I didn't drink that much.

St. Patrick's day is like having a holiday related to blacks and making it all about basketball. Maybe it's more like a holiday related to Hispanics and making it all about washing dishes and mowing grass.
Nah, it would be a holiday related to Hispanics and all you did was eat tacos, drink margaritas and listen to fancy mexican music.

I never understood all of the Paddy's day hatred. It's just a day to go out and have a little drunken fun. My family is Irish (I'm 3rd gen) and nobody takes offense to the holiday. I don't celebrate it regularly anymore. Having a few drinks and hanging out with friends is every week for me. The worst part of the day is everyone singing O' Danny Boy. I hate that song.

I work as a bouncer in the biggest Irish pub in Montreal, Hurley's Irish Pub. Montreal also has the oldest parade day in Canada. Fuck this whole weekend. Fuck it in the ass. We got a huge Irish community in Montreal and Saturday was a boxing match between Lucian Bute and Brian Magee (a boxer from northern Ireland). The pub was a fucking shitshow the whole weekend. Had to deal with a bunch of drunk assholes and got in a few fights.
But I did make a nice amount of cash.
