this is coming from the last time i looked into it... maybe there has been a resurgence.
Way back in he day I worked on a pretty kick ass MUGEN game myself...but I lost it when I wiped my computer. It's great to mess around with but it can grow old pretty quickly.
I want to build a new pc and turn my old one into emu pc loaded with tons of shit including Mugen and put it into a arcade cabinet. So I'm looking for where i can find more mugen stuff. I've heard they have this "new" one out (and when i say new it could be couple years old) that is called everything vs. everything and put that one on my pc
I saw a combo video.Quote:

It's a combo video but the thing is to look at the characters. Look at this one
or this Dragonclaw vs Thor
Ok, I downloaded this again. How the f do you get it to run in fullscreen? I can't get it to.
I haven't used it in forever, but i remember having to edit a config file or something like that to get fullscreen.Quote:

That Thor one was pretty damn cool. I didnt even know shit like this existed.Quote:

Oh and here's a link for Chars/Info: http://mugenguild.com/forumx/index.php
*edit*
That Thor is sweet. I like how he can be swap as Betaray Bill.
I guess you can get Thor here if you register:

If you register you can dl Mugen XP, Superman, Batman, Wonderwoman, Lobo Beta, Thor and some others.

From what I remember, MUGEN was stupid annoying to work. Has it changed?
Evil exorcist Ken was scary.
evil ken vs. evil ryu matches were gobs of fun to watch. The Evil Ken totally rocked him almost every time. Sometimes 2 of him. The AI for Evil Ken was quite a bit better.
People had some fun sprites like a ship from Gradius or something i think. Anyhow some of the edits from Garou for instance were put in pixel perfect. As a matter of fact, i first saw Marco Rodriguez in as a MUGEN character, then i found out all about Garou: MOTW.
First thought is that it's a bit, say, retarded? But then again, lots of hobbies are. Party on.
I've seen mugen before, but I've never played it. Very, very cool concept, but how well does it play? Good, decent, or shitty?
The quality of the chracters and how they played depends on the people making them. Some translations of chracters were near perfect. I suggest trying it out f you can get past the whole text editing configuration thing.Quote:
