For those that remember, Carnage Heart was the most complex console game ever created. Released for the original Playstation, it came with a 200+ page instruction book.
The basic idea was building a mech from a chassis and adding additional parts, then actually putting together an AI routine for the mech's control chip. You did this by sorting together strings of instruction blocks on a grid with various if/then type conditions. You didn't actually control your mechs in the fighting, everything was carried out by the AI you put together. Perfecting a mech's routine could take like a week if you put enough effort into it.
Anyway, they're releasing a followup for PSP:

It basically just says Artdink's releasing another one after 7 years, and you'll be able to upload your custom mechs to your PC, and will be able to host the files on you own webspace if you want for others to download. There'll be ad-hoc vs., but it doesn't mention infrastructure.
Oh yeah, and rag doll physics as your mechs get blown apart, if anyone cares.

This is what the programming grid looks like:

No word on a domestic release, article says it comes out this summer in Japan. I'm looking forward to checking it out; there hasn't really been anything like it since.
