I want to make my screens resolution higher so everything is smaller but I only have the option to go as high as 1024x768. To be fair even when I set it at 1024x768 it still looks like the 800x600 option or whatever.
What can I do to make it higher?

Noob.
No shit.
Different drivers for your card, different driver for your monitor, Powerstrip www.entechtaiwan.com
Does your monitor actually support a higher resolution?
No idea; I guess we'll find out.
Yeh, if you don't have a good video card it won't go higher. I don't think my GeForce 5 used to be able to do 1280x1024. No drivers will change that I don't think.
What screen are you using anyway? You shouldn't need more than 1024x768 unless you have a 19" monitor or bigger.
I've never heard of any video card made within the past 8 years that didn't support 1280x1024.Quote:
