I have had the same four warmachine minis sitting on my desk in the studio for like three years with only a coat of primer on them. :(

lol@Onyxia "mini"
I have no clue how big the regular minis are so I can't say how huge that is or isn't, but I do wonder where people who collect these games store this shit.
Wow, I thought the HeroScape dragons were big...
I dunno, I think that guy is pretty rad. :x
I didn't say it wasn't awesome! I just don't think I could ever bring myself to play one of these games. I have too much shit collecting dust on shelves and in boxes as it is.
but I've always wanted an onyxia statue of some kind and it's gonna be tempting when it's out :(
For me prepainted minis, even the most slickest and neatest of the bunch are pretty lame looking when compared to something a talented person can paint themselves...
So I don't have to worry about putting my heroscape guys out anytime soon.
lol Key word being "talented". I agree that hand-painted stuff always looks awesome...until I realize I don't have the time/patience/skillz to paint itty-bitty characters for a game I play < 3hrs/mo.
It's only worth hand-painting minis if you enjoy painting them. We've gotten to the point where a lot of the pre-painted stuff looks really good.
Ah, a friend started buying Heroscape stuff while I was out of town. I'm going to get sucked in. This is the beginning of the end, I know it. :(
but he also bought the brood war expansion for the SC board game FUCK YEAH
