My DeepDiscountDVD haul:
GROSSE POINTE BLANK
HIGH FIDELITY
MALENA
IRON MONKEY
SWINGERS (CE)
SHAOLIN SOCCER
JERRY SEINFELD- COMEDIAN
25TH HOUR
CONFESSIONS OF A DANGEROUS MIND
COMIC BOOK: THE MOVIE
BUFFALO SOLDIERS
HEARTLANDS
I will defend anyone buying Battlefield Earth as long as it's for the purpose of mocking it. That movie can be absolutely hilarious, up there with Manos or Space Mutiny, provided you watch it with a group that's into this sort of thing.
I duno man, Manos is hard to watch. Even if you're just out to mock it. The MST3K guys even appoligized for making us sit through it.Quote:

I was reading on Wikipedia how the Ultimate Warrior left wrestling in the mid 90s, and wrote & drew his own comic. It only lasted 4 issues, but one was a Christmas issue with no captions or dialogue whatsoever. In it, he storms the North Pole, beats up all the elves, and the final panel is him posiing triumphantly over a defeated santa, who he has chained and dressed in bondage gear.
He now makes his living as a 'conservative' commentator, and got booed off the stage at De Paul the other day where he made all kinds of anti-homosexual statements, including "queers can't control their emotions" - said right before he lost control of his emotions.
I'm gonna put two and two together here and come up with ...

Dang, four? Are you going to sell back the other two? The white DS Lite looks awesome though.Quote:

Didn't find much at the CinciClassic yesterday worth picking up. Here's what I ended up with...
31 boxed & complete 2600 & Intelivision Games (I split 62 with my buddy) - $25
4 Diehard Gamefan & 11 early Next Gen issues I didn't alreday have - $10
6 of those old school NES strat guides that look like novels - $15
4 random import GB games - $5
And I got one of these Slime controllers for $30 at an EB on the way home.
http://www.gamesarefun.com/games/pla...q8/slime4t.jpg
$140 to fix my Onkyo audio receiver. It was necessary (that thing is the nexus of my entertainment center), but I wasn't happy about it.
My haul over the past two days -
Xbox Live Diamond card
Odelay from Beck
God of War (non-GH)
Midnight Club 3: Dub Edition Remix (bought with GoW, 2 for $30).
I was just going to get GoW, but remembered the 2 for $30 deal, and decided to get Remix on top of it for just $10 more.
Batman Begins: SE
I got Star Trek: The Next Generation Seasons 1 & 2 and have 3-5 on the way. I forgot how kick ass this show is.
I have one too; it's totally cute but sucks ass as a controller.Quote:

Buying the 24 seasons on eBay for less than half the MSRP definitely makes it affordable.
Yeah, I tried it out at E3 last year. This one just staying in the package and going to sit on my shelf looking all cute.Quote:

That's the flavor that Twinkies started with.
I can't imagine twinkies tasty anything like the regular ones out now.
Devil Dogs are where it's at.

I got an early birthday present from a relative who hasn't sent a card in years. Kinda cool, and I love unexpected mail, so whee.

My stepbrother (6 years old) came up to me and said 'Your bag looks mean. And grumpy. Like you.' and ran off. He has a point, though.

Okay, I posted two images of it, and he turned it into an animated .gif. It's not that complicated. He has nothing to do with my bag other than being amused by the frumpiness I pointed out.Quote:

I got $50 to put into a checking account I opened today, and some stuff from Bath and Body Works from my stepmom. Never really use that stuff, but I may as well now that I have a bunch. Not a bad birthday haul, but I didn't get a fucking cake. What the hell kind of birthday is this?
An adult one.

Where did you get to in Half-Life 2? The first part is very good but honestly it gets better.Quote:

Amazing graphics, too.
Whatever, I have a cake every year. The last two years I have made it myself though.Quote:

Cool, I might have to drive out to LI and give it a try.Quote:

The teleporting gag was like physically painful to me. A bad joke that totally broke any sense of immersion. The shooting is also surprisingly unsatisfying so far. I'm sure this is all due to my expectations being so high that the small flaws leap out at me right now, and probably won't bother me once I start settling in.Quote:
