I came across this interesting video and though I would share:

Warning: Has some blood in it. It's not Skull and Bones bad though, it was originally shown on Court TV.

She owned herself.
I thought people only accidently stabbed/shot/etc. themselves when brawling over a weapon in teh movies.
I love how the cop says "she's fine" so casually when there's a knife stuck in her chest. She definately owned herself.
Up to the fucking hilt, too. Ow.
Lawl.
That's what the bitch gets for waving a knife at a cop.
I'll tell you this much, if I'm ever being talked to be the police the last thing I'd do is even look at a weapon.
Protip: Being tackled while holding a knife may result in tremendous pain.
poor woman.

If she wasn't a retard, this wouldn't have happened.Quote:

Holy crap, up to the hilt.
"Yeah, we're fine."
You know, now that you mention it.... :lol:Quote:

Force the knife out of her hand (there were 3 cops they could have been careful and done this, put the hand-to-hand training to use).Quote:

I was watching Cops for a little bit last night. Some guy complained that his girl room mate stabbed him with scissors. The dumb bitch was saying she didn't do anything (and she had meth in her pants too). The cop asked her about the stabbing and she said: "I didn't stab him with scissors!" and the cop goes "Who said anything about scissors."
She owned herself. The cop ended up tackling her or something. I didn't watch the end.
Ow, ow, ow. Why exactly was she carrying a huge knife in her car anyway?
Because she was fighting with that dude.
When you've got a fat lady swinging a knife at YOU, things tend not to play out as you'd want them to. Plus the adrenaline from having a car ran into you.Quote:

People must like going to jail or something. Idiot.
may i ask what that lady is doing to the other lady in your sig?Quote:

Yeah she was crazy and retarded, not a good combo. And when said person has an object that can kill. Worst case scenario. Hand to hand training WORKS when its hand to hand, Not Knife versus Palm.
But he was non-chalant about it. "Leave it."
It just seems so much better that way.Quote:

The years of lawsuits that followed finally ironed out the fact that local law enforcement don't know what the fuck to do when dealing with mentally ill people. And Ryan's family was able to have the department involved at least establish some new training procedures.
I can recount at least 2 other similar stories I'm not too far removed from.
Fuck the police, and all overzealous authority figures. :\
Of course, it's the cop's fault. She had just rammed his police cruiser. He should have just let her off with a warning, that asshole!Quote:

It's her fault she got that knife in the belly, not the cop's.
I know plenty of police overstep their authority and shit, but this clearly wasn't the case here.
Yea, the cops do over react a bit too zealously sometimes.
But what I think more people need to keep in mind is the situations that police officers are put in nearly every day.
They don't know a person is mentally ill. They don't know that people "are totally harmless, he'd never hurt a flea!", all the unknowns are what make situations dangerous.
I can speak from experience that even the most out of shape, old, broke down fool can be dangerous in the wrong situation.
Does it suck when cops make a poor decision and it costs someone their life? Sure, but that's the way it goes sometimes.
I found out last night that my friend who is a state trooper shot himself in the leg. Went through the meat of both thighs and through the car door. That was after he totalled his car the week before. And after someone jacked his wallet and took 10k from him.
Sorry about your friend.Quote:

Once they got her out, I think she could have been talked down(even though she went into Norman Bates mode, I dont think she would have kept swinging the knife around with 3 guns pointing at her). The cop before pulling her out of the vehicle was starting to talk to her and she was receptive (kind of) to it.Quote:

Agreed. I mean, they're human. If you or I were in the same situation, how would we have reacted?Quote:
