Yeah, it's the UK art, but it won't change for other regions. It was probably dropped down to one disc since Warrior wouldn't participate, and they didn't want to waste a two disc set on someone who won't work with them. They're planning to do other DVD sets for people, and if they won't work with them, they'll be buried in the documentary portion, like Warrior is.

Well, that would be slandering him, which he could probably sue over. They know their legal limits, and they'll probably insult him as much as they can without risking legal trouble. I'm sure knocking it down to one disc is another way they're insulting him, since his fans will just have this one disc thing instead of the originally planned two disc set. I'm sure they'd say that it would have been two discs if he participated, but since he didn't, they couldn't justify the production costs, and that they'd be more than happy to make a two disc set if he'd participate, painting them as the victims.

They need to do a 'Best of WWE: Big Men' DVD which includes matches of Yokozuna, Sid, Diesel, Vader, Earthquake etc etc and could even feature some of the failed big men gimmicks like Matt Morgan, Mantaur, Bastion Booger etc.

Actually, Jake is getting a three disc set, and since he's on decent terms with the company, he probably won't be buried. Also, Brock Lesnar is in Madden '06 as a free agent, and Dusty Rhodes signed a WWE Legends deal, and will likely be getting a DVD set dedicated to his career. Great news for TNA - they will NOT be paying for their SpikeTV timeslot.

Yes, and Hoyt's over because he goes drinking with the Orlando regulars. RVD, Regal, and Finlay did a rolling fireman's carry, but Anderson's the first guy I've seen do it off the top. His schtick is great. Mr. Anderson...Anderson... A great ego trip thing AND a nod to Southwest Championship Wrestling, I love it.

Thus far, it's gotten universal praise. I've just seen the Waltman-Lynn match, and I loved it.

The promise of Benoit winning the U.S. title in DC makes me want to go to Summerslam. The only reason they had him job to Jordan at the Bash was to have this Summerslam match, and then they don't hype it at all, and it's announced on Raw of all things. I love it.
So much for a fresh start for Benoit on Smackdown.
I only had 3 guys on RAW this week. They all scored well but I have 4 Smackdown guys... including Christian who was apparently injured. :(

I think I'm taking first place after Summerslam.
Bastion Booger picked Christian (no match at the PPV, and injured), JBL (you don't really think he's taking the title, do you?), and Carlito (does he have a Summerslam match? I don't think he does.). Also, he picked Mysterio, and I think that there's about a 50% chance that Eddie is gonna win the ladder match.
Big Middle Legs picked Hogan (that's a tought one, but I picked HBK to win it), Viscera (WTF?), and Mysterio.
The Deadbeats have a bunch of useless picks in Masters, Christian, Kazarian, and Super Crazy (to be fair, it wouldn't be unthinkable to see a Mexicool run in at some point, but they aren't gonna get you anything but appearance points, or maybe foreign object points). Also, he's got Mercury, who doesn't have a match scheduled at this point.
The only questionable pick Chux made is Jericho, who I don't think has any chance in hell of winning at Summerslam. The best he can hope for is a DQ win. Christy was a waste of money also, but not a lot of money. I also don't think that Hogan is gonna beat HBK, but it's not exactly a crazy thing to bet on the Hulkster. And, he's got 2 other close ass calls in Eugene and Matt Hardy (I sided with Edge on this, but who fuckin' knows). His only sure thing is Batista.
As far as me, my roster looks like this:
Jericho - I picked him in the hopes of him getting a big main event win on RAW, not because I think he has a chance to win at Summerslam. Maybe he'll surprise me though. Doesn't really matter, since I have Cena also.
Edge - I truly think that the only reason WWE brought Matt back was to bury him. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think I am. Plus, there's more money in Hardy chasing Edge for awhile. If he beats him in their first match, that's it for the feud.
Eugene - I picked him for specialty match points on RAW, but if he gets the win over Angle, fine, I picked 'em both.
Cena - I fully expect him to keep the belt until Wrestlemania.
Angle - Even if he doesn't beat Eugene, he'll put the ankle lock on him like, 6 times. And, if he loses, he'll go berzerk and put in on a few more times, and probably beat him down with a chair or something. Points.
Orton - His next big push starts here.
HBK - If he loses, I hate the world. But, I see a big win for the showstopper coming this Sunday night.

Angle - no way is Eugene going to keep the medals. and i also picked him for the same reason - lots and lots of points.
Hardy - figured they'd let him go over and give him a win since he's just come back and has all this ANGER AND INTENSITY. but at the same time, they might go no-contest to keep the feud going a little longer. that would be gay.
Orton - same reason - big push.
Mysterio - i'm not a fan of the Dominic angle, and i'm personally getting a little tired of the Rey/Eddie feud. i'm guessing this'll be the end of it for a while and Rey will go over getting custody. really tough to say, though, because Eddie's lost the last two.
Christian - mainly because i had $3,500,000 leftover. i thought they'd throw him into some 4-way IC match at the very least since he didn't even bother helping Orlando in their last match.
WWE Champion John Cena vs. Chris Jericho- Cena though i would love to see Jericho with the belt again i don't think i've marked out more won he became the undisputed champion
Shawn Michaels vs. Hulk Hogan- Hogan, though Michaels should really go over i have feeling Hogan will win to increase his reality show ratings or something stupid like that
World Heavyweight Champion Batista vs. JBL-Batista
Edge vs. Matt Hardy-Matt Hardy though they kind of botched a super hot angle i dont think they'll mess up anymore but having Edge win it.
Randy Orton vs. Undertaker- Orton to make up for the loss at WM
Eugene vs. Kurt Angle-Eugene but not before Angle destroys his Shane McMahon style.
Eddie Guerrero vs. Rey Mysterio-Mysterio
United States Champion Orlando Jordan vs. Chris Benoit-Benoit he has to win i mean he's freaking Benoit he can't job to Jordan twice.
Hogan made an interesting comment on show internet radio show the other day:
"You know, they have writers here now that I'm starting to warm up to. They always have something to give you. Stephanie McMahon, even though I didn't realize it, really has got her finger on the pulse here. She's given me nothing but good material. Someone missed week one, but there are almost a THOUSAND points seperating 1st and 10th place now, so really, one week is no excuse.
Half assed.
I watch this stuff on and off so I had to have a friend give me a recap on everything that was going on. After a half hour of groaning, laughing my ass off and groaning some more, I knew the next three hours wouldn't be too big a waste of time. I honestly only hung around for the Hogan match.
Anyway, Benoit vs some crackhead looking guy-The pizza guy rang the doorbell and when looked back at the set, the match was already over. WTF? Crippler crossface saves the day.
Matt vs Edge-"MATT FACT: I GOT FIRED!!" so yeah I was despite me hating everyone in the ring, I actually got into this match...till Matt busts his head open and bleeds a little too profusely. No winner. The match lasted all of 4 minutes I think.
Eugene vs Angle-This was pretty good till Eugene lost by tapping out. I told my friend "What the fuck? Why did he tap so fast?" to which he replied "He's retarded. Duh."
Undertaker vs Randy-The tombstone getting reversed like 5 times in a row was awesome. Randy winning was not. The makeup job on his dad was impressive...but it was his dad so whatever.
Rey vs Eddie-ok...child custody ladder match. to say the least, this match was "OVER THE TOP". But seriously, Eddie's wife can't act for shit and Rey's kid had the same look on his face the entire match. Lot's of great falls in this match though. Meskins never disappoint when it comes to wrestling. Oh yeah, Rey won.
Jericho vs John Cena-I don't like either of these guys so I didn't pay attention. Whatever.
Some Texas-looking motherfucker vs Batista-these guys either :p
Hogan vs HBK- Started out really slow till Hogan cut himself. He bled awesomely. At one point they knock the ref and each other a second time and my friend tells me "Oh shit, don't tell me Bret Hart is coming out!" to which I responded "Yeah right". Well, he didn't come out and the match ended with a Hogan legdrop. Pretty boring minus the Bret Hart cocktease.
Revoltor's thoughts of the evening:
Aside from the child custody match it was a pretty forgettable Summerslam. I hope Hogan gets his "Hogan Knows Best" ratings and I hope to never see Eddie's wife speak in front of the camera ever again. Also, fuck the WWF for matches that have 10 minute montages yet only last 2 minutes in the ring. I hate that shit.
Anyway, it was a pretty good night made totally better by the enthusiastic bunch I viewed it with. Never once was I lost thanks to the factoids and rumors my friend scoured from various wrestling webpages. Surely those that actually keep up with the weekly shenanigans will have a spot in muscle-man heaven. I for one am happy enough with just the 4 or 5 major PPVs a year (I think Wrestlemania will be my next one).
