No one in TNA should talk.
They should have a wrestler whose sole purpose it is to punch the commentators in their stomachs as they try to speak.
I nominate Joe for that. Here's Adam West talking with Lawler, apparently while drunk - http://www.youtube.com/?v=03Mg0NFJU30
No Joe's too important. Just make it someone like Roderick Strong who has yet to develop a ring personality.
um, so they are 3 or 4 matches each, containing their entire TNA run? Sure, it could be like the Daniels DVD where it shows their "beginnings" in the indies, but that was a LONG time ago for both of them since they can't have any WWE owned footage.Quote:

WCW was far dumber than TNA has been, and there won't be a Monday night war with TNA and WWE for a while. Spike doesn't have that much faith in their product, and it would be suicide to attempt it anytime soon. Tobal, I think he only had four matches in TNA before he signed the full-time deal. They could get the rights to his WWA stuff for a DVD, if they didn't have enough TNA material to put on it.
"Juventud Guerrera recently stated in an interview from Mexico that TNA, CMLL, AAA and NOAH are all trying to work with him. He also said the reason he is no longer with WWE is due to his visa not being renewed. You've likely read the past reports that we've posted about his huge ego so judge for yourself."
So TNA want him even though his Visa isn't renewed?
Juvi is an idiot. Period.
It's kind of a bad news day so far. Aries and Strong have had their TNA bookings cancelled since they put themselves in a position to miss the TNA PPV by taking an ROH booking, and Johnny Grunge of Public Enemy passed away at the age of only 39.
Now Public Enemy is finally reunited. :(
I would just like to state that the WWE Fantasy thread should be deleted and it should re-continue in here. It's basically died off because of that great 'idea'.
yea..pretty damn sad. Grunge died from complications of sleep apnea, which sounds pretty damn scary. Gasping for air while going to the hospital and passing away like that..man..Quote:

I really like how Brett was able to stick to his decision not to actually work again in the WWE based on how things should remain as they are. What makes me really sick is when I look at Matt Hardy, he should've been smart enough to join ROH, TNA, or some indy fed, but instead goes off to pull the direct opposite and ends up having everything done to him cept have his career cut short by injury. Seriously, you go back, they turn your problems into part of an angle, kick you off one program and leave you for jobber-fodder where every rising star in need of a push has to target him cause he's available.Quote:
It was announced this past week on WWE Monday Night RAW that Bret Hart would be an inductee into the 2006 WWE Hall of Fame this year in Chicago, IL at the Rosemont Theatre on April 1. New reports are now indicating that Vince McMahon personally called Hart on or around the morning of February 5 to invite him to take part in the Hall of Fame ceremony this year.
According to reports, McMahon pushed the idea to Hart as a way for him to thank his fans and get a chance to provide some closure since he was never able to do so. It should be noted that when Hart accepted the offer, he kept with his stance that he would never work for WWE again and in saying that is not being paid for his appearance. WWE will however handle his travels and lodging costs for bringing him to Chicago with his wife.
One of the things Hart has continued to turn down when offered was getting involved in the current Shawn Michaels and Vince McMahon storyline. This is no surprise as Hart has stated on more than one occassion that he would never involve himself in a WWE storyline, especially with McMahon or Michaels as fans might be given the impression that what took place in 1997 at Survivor Series was a "work" after all.
He should just kill himself now because he doesn't realise how much of a tool he's turned himself into.
I like how you brush off a huge career and financial decision like he made as a simple choice he had to make. Actually the ferocity at which you do it is what entertains me most of all.Quote:

Impact had some funny moments, like Jeff Jarrett's attire, which looked terrible. Seriously, Kip James actually dressed better than him. The Jackie-Jarrett endless angle continues, but had a nice twist last night. Alex Shelley continues to rule with his one-liners (AND HOW!). I'm glad to see him in a main event storyline in TNA, especially since Strong and Aries basically derailed Gen Next's push as a group.
lawl I'm going to No Way Out tonight.
It looks like a pretty good show, have a fun time.
Will do. Tix were like $35 so it's as much as the PPV would cost from home.
My brother has cable, so I'll see if he can order it.Quote:

Hell, I was actually hoping for Undertaker to win so he could face Orton at WM and possibly finally lose at WM but I didn't even get that.
This is not making me confident for a good WM card. :(
WTF. Matt Hardy and Tatanka?
Korly, Meltzer's saying that it looks like they'll do a three-way for the belt at 'Mania, so Rey could still get his chance, although it's not likely that he'll win it at 'Mania.
It's fucking dumb either way. Randy Orton vs. Kurt Angle gets a month of build-up? There's a couple of problemsQuote:

B) Kurt Angle isn't really all that over as a face. Everyone wants him to be a heel, and his new IN YOUR FACE ultimate fighter persona he stole from Ken Shamrock is ridiculous. The mouth piece makes him look like he has down syndrome.
and
C) Rey Jr. is way more over.
In fact the only thing I can see that would make this Wrestlemania even semi-worthwhile is Bret Hart being inducted in to the WWE Hall of Fame. When a wrestler whose been retired for over five years or so is the biggest draw on your biggest show of the year you have issues.
I guess the biggest kick in all of this is how Edge vs. Cena could have been an amazing feud if it were left to stew for a bit and culminate at Wrestlemania, and Taker vs. Orton for the world heavyweight championship would instantly mean that Orton's entire one year feud with The Undertaker could come to an amazing end with him finally ending Undertaker's streak (in a meaningful way too) and winning the WWE title in a way that doesn't make him look like a two-bit hack.
Yet all of this was blown.
I agree, this thing can really only properly end with Rey winning the belt at 'Mania, especially with Eddie going into the HOF. Hopefully they'll come to their senses with this, but I'm preparing for them not to, since they are bound and determined to make Orton the top heel on SD.
Bound and determined without a sense of what they're doing.Quote:

I was so glad Orton fucked Rey. I started yelling and shit, it was amazing. As for Tatanka and Hardy... MNM walked out with the belts so...
Yeah, I guess it WAS non title. My bad. Still, Hardy shouldn't be beating ANYONE, much less MNM.
Was it fun live? I went to Summerslam a couple of years ago (when Orton beat Benoit for the title) and it was kind of... I don't know... not what I expected. Of course I only had decent seats (All seat in the Air Canada Centre have good vantage points). That was the time Toronto did the wave during the JBL - Undertaker match.Quote:

Nobody, and I mean NOBODY in Baltimore cared about Tatanka. I was surprised Hardy got pop, but it was silent as soon as YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYA came over the speakers.
Meltzer's report mentioned that the only person who cared was a person with a "Tatanka is back" sign.
I know, I used to really like MAtt Hardy. One of my first TNL sigs was a Matt Hardy v.1 sig. That being said, he's a complete jobber who just got butt-raped by Viscera at the last PPV, and he has no business bringing MNM down with him.Quote:

I could see it now...Bret goes up to accept his award, Owen's corpse is dropped from the rafters, and then Vince commands the entire WWE roster to beat the shit out of Bret and his wife right there on the stage for reals. Then Vince will laugh and play it off the next night on TV like it was an angle. He'd be more evil than Hitler.
If we got one more smackdown, there's not reason for the general manager to not pop up with another contender match after seeing how Orton had his legs on the rope.Quote:

I actually liked the Spirit Squad. They were super loud on the apron and did some really great moves. I think they remind me a lot of the Mexicools when they first debuted, there's just something fresh about the way they do shit that gets exciting. we have tag champs on RAW that havnt defended the belts in over a month.......because there is NO tag division on that show. pathetic.
okay so HHH will probably have his new music at WM (Disturbed did it) since he'll win the belt, but what about Big Shows new theme? can't remember if Disturbed also did it but i know he had a new entrance recorded as well.
that would be so awesome......but how can we fit in the work of eddie not really being dead into this?Quote:

Tobal, I thought they'd do that with Marty too. Shelton-Flair ruled, and I'm glad he got the gold back. The triple threat main event was shockingly good, although I would have liked someone other than HHH to win.
Big Show was in the match of the night two weeks in a row. Triple H is such a good wrestler.
I guess WWE just doesn't truly understand how much of a creative dynamo you are.Quote:

He's awesome at making himself look amazing. If that means making Booker T look like a jobber in the ring, he'll do it. If it means making Big Show look like something other than a great big pile of shit he'll go out and make Big Show look like an unstoppable monster two weeks in a row. Hell I've seen HHH make Hurricane look like he's going to actually win a match against him. He's an awesome ring story teller when his position as the number one head cheese on the show isn't at risk. Or when he thinks it's in his best interest to make the opponent look amazing.Quote:

Actually, no he didn't. The match with Steiner stunk up the building so bad that WWE gave up pushing him instantly. That's why Steiner turned into a jobber almost overnight. Hay, and I was a big Steiner fan, it pains me to admit this, but even Trips couldn't get a decent match out of him.Quote:

enjoy it? i'd rather have the mic inept lita out than the ring inept ashley. at least she's nice to look at, and doesn't talk much.
QFT, and double true.
I don't understand it. During the Diva Search Ashley was the hottest one, by far. Right after WWE hired her, she suddenly became at least 50% less attractive. She used to have that fresh, natural look, she now has that same plastic, overly done-up whore look that the rest of the female roster has. Plus, I hate that lip piercing.
I'd pick out a favorite Diva, but I can't tell them apart anymore. I guess Stacy, but is she even on TV anymore?
WWE says 4 weeks, yeah.Quote:
