You can get a deduction of up to $38,000. It's because Hummers and H2s are so big and weigh so much that they are part of a different class than other luxury vehicles, so they aren't subject to the same regulations.

That's only for businesses though, not individuals. Luxury vehicle tax law only applies to businesses.

It shouldn't apply for anyone, but even when it is business there are those who exploit it. I mean, when a Hummer is your vehicle and you own a small business, you get the break.
