Likewise. So far my favourite song both to play and listen to is Monkey Wrench.
Also:
Misirlu
Rock This Town
and of course
JESSICA. What a great idea, a song without vocals, and an awesome one at that!

I love GH1 like no you wouldn't believe. I do pretty well with every other song. Shit, I even managed to get Cowboys from Hell after just one or two tries. Bark at the Moon is pissing me off so much I wish Randy Rhodes was still alive so I could kill the motherfucker.
Is there another venue after the Garden, just in case I ever nail BatM? I feel like I must beat GH1 before I really get into GH2.
No. The only thing in Guitar Hero 1 you will never see is the Battle Axe, unless you use the cheat code.
Actually, the guitarist on that song is Jake E. Lee, who was Ozzy's guitarist in-between Randy Rhoads and Zakk Wylde.
The venue that you play BatM in is the game's final venue.Quote:

I lolled pretty hard before the encore with Freebird. This game's really fun, and I'm sort of glad I warmed up with Hard and unlock everything for multiplayer so I can concentrate on getting expert down right. (PS, I'm never going to get past Psychobilly Freakout on Expert)
I'm dying on hard. The clusterfuck of landmines brainfucks me.
I made it to the last group of expert songs earlier tonight and I have to say that "Jordan" is easily the hardest song that I've seen thus far; the first solo alone is probably the most ridiculous section in the entire Guitar Hero series.
Time to finish this game off and start working on my scores (I'm dreading having to limp through the snore-fest that is "Freebird").
Protip: If you can't make it past that really fast alternating B-R, Y-G part (I swear, my fingers just cannot contort themselves into the proper position for that part), you can limp through it by just strumming either the B-R or Y-G chords.
P.S. All the fast songs in this game really amplify my disdain for Red Octane's strum-bar; the thing just doesn't give you the proper amount of feedback to matchup the in-song rhythms with the on-screen rhythms. It was alright in the first game because you really didn't need to alt-strum that much, but since so many of the songs in GH2 make alt-strumming a necessity, this game is a lot more frustrating than it really should be.
Weeman, as elitist as he is, hit it right on the head.
Well, as to your Protip, that's okay. It's hard to keep switching between pointer-ring and middle-pinky that quickly. HOWEVER, what I do there is simply slide my pointer-ring B-R up to yellow-green and back quickly. I still miss sometimes because I mash down too many buttons but it works well.
Actually, sliding around the fingerboard at any time works well, the edges of the buttons are smooth and go down easily, and it also works for hammer ons/pulloffs to just slide around.
As to the second part, yeah that's why I'm saying this game is harder than GH1. The songs in general are a lot faster and require alt strumming and I rarely full combo those sections, (though sometimes I do get the speed down.) It's almost easier if I close my eyes. It's way hard to be that accurate when you're going that fast.
On the first one I could get by on every song by strumming down quickly, but the only song I can really pull it off for on this one seems to be Beast and the Harlot, but alt strumming would help immensely. I wish I could cut out the metal section of that song and just play that fun chorus...OH WAIT I CAN! THANKS PRACTICE!
