That 'ignore them and they'll go away' is fine for schoolyard bullies, but when someone is at your son's funeral with a huge picket sign saying they deserved to die and that they're rotting in hell it's not as simple as just looking away.

They have already passed legislation that prohibits being within 500 feet of the funeral. After that it is freedom of speech.

What they do is horrible, but there is nothing you can do about it.

The best thing you can do is ignore them. They want people to get offended and upset, why play into their plan of disruption?

PS: If they protested my son's funeral I'd open fire, but as bystanders watching a news program, we should just not let it bother us.
