I've been saying this for about 9 months now. He can't handle shit, and it sucks because I can never watch anything gruesome.

But going back to it, ugh, think about how bad the operator had to feel having to listen to him get so upset and knowing there was nothing she could really do for him to help him any quicker. Its long past but it just makes you appreciate how lucky you are not to have been involved in something like that. Seriously.

It especially sucks that he was leaving the office when that happened.

Its sad. I know we all have to get over it, but the sad thing is we never heard the tapes. We knew people were taling to 911 operators the whole time, but this was like ... puts it all in perspective.

Yea, I guess this to us is almost like the Vietnam footage and what not back in the 60s and 70s that kept all the protesting going. I've heard some of the calls on the news during specials and stuff, but I haven't heard one that continues to the person's last words when the building fell.

I felt bad for her more just because the guy was an asshole about it. I realize he's scared and all but bitching over and over to her that it doesn't feel like people are coming isn't doing anything except making someone that currently can't do shit feel worse. I suppose part of that is the dark humor that people complain the same way when they're dying that they do in a retail store because they aren't getting service fast enough for a $2 item.

Hearing that end was pretty fucked up, in any case.
