Introducing... the Nintendo Wii

What was wrong with "Revolution" anyways? The name was pretty widely known, at least among gamers. Nobody really thought the name was exceedingly stupid. It wasn't likely to cause confusion when pronounced, or generally look ridiculous when written. Just because it was only a code name doesn't mean it absolutely had to be changed.

Go back, Nintendo, quickly.

If it were pronounced Why the blow would have been a little softer. As it stands now this is the most ridiculous name for a piece of hardware to date. I don't want to have something called "The Wii" in my living room.

Indeed. Xbox continues to be a shitty generic name for a console, and 360 is meaningless. We just got used to them.

So will this be WiiFi enabled now?
