A very tough desision, i'm selling my M5 :(

I have nothing but good things to say about my the BMW M5(silverstone/silverstone), but unfortunately with 2 childs, the wife, and hopefully a 3rd baby on the way, it's getting difficult to move around. I have looked into the Audi Q7 and i madly fell in love ith it, soecually that it holds 7 people and has plenty of space plus luggage.

one of my other main complaints about the M5 was it's fuel consumption, it was absolutely rediculous, i had to visit a gas station every 4 days or so.

ofcourse this not to say i will not own an M car again. After i get the Audi Q7(X5 is small, and merc ML im just not a fan of) i'll be jumping on the next M3(I sold the E46 for the M5) when it comes out in a year or 2

I know this is not an Audi forum, but how is the fuel consumption on the Q7 4.2? i'm thinking of settling for the V6(when it arrives later this year) since it's for family only, the next M3 will fullfill the power department for me :)

btw, my E60 M5 only has 4000KM on it, and it's a garage queen, i pampered it more than i pamper myself :)

btw, the car also has an iPod integration kit and 2 SD card memory card slots for MP3s :) (optional ofcourse)

1) You didn't have the M5 for very long.

2) I still can't believe your cell phone has such a sweet camera. The crap they stick us with over here is embarassing.

yah american mobile releases are embarresing, specially due to the 850band.(with use 900 like the rest of the world)

the M5 is a dream car, but family comes first, me, wife, 2 child seats and the nany get very crammed. the Q7 hold 7 seats and plenty of space(btw my M5 has only 3000miles on it, hope depreciation doesnt kill me). i'm alsomoving into a new house and getting a new job.

I'll stick around longer till i get the ne M3 for my own personal pleasure in 2-3 years once i settle my budget and finances. also the M5 is a gass guzzler, i have to stop for gas ever 4-5 days, plus the gas prices in the UAE ent up by 30%!!!!!!!!!!!! fuck pethatic considering we export persol/gas.

ofcourse i'll wait on the M3 for a while. and good thing is, the owner of Audi is a good friend of the family and could cut me a good deal, plus a good financing plan.

whereabouts do you live marwan?

My dad had a 2001 330xi, that car was bad ass from day 1 to the day he sold it. 4 wheel drive, good mileage, fast as hell and it was built like a tank. Nothing went wrong with that car.

Whats the percentage in the US the past year or two 200%?

Nice rides though both of them. Much nicer than my VW.
