It's digital. Nikon D70s DSLR, $900 for the small kit, I think. That lens was an extra $1,000 or so when we got it a year or so ago. It's an 80-200mm f2.8 lens (absolutely fucking amazing). I graduate in three days, and after three years of having that as my own personal camera, I am deeply saddened. I don't have a camera, film or otherwise, at all. I'm seriously going to miss that damn camera.

I see, it's the school's camera then, and not yours. That sucks.

Yeah, it belongs to our publications (newspaper and yearbook). They've got a D100, a D70, and a D70s [with a broken flash], two 28-100 kit lenses, two 80-200mm big lenses, one Nikon shoe-mount flash and two 512MB CF cards. I have no idea how they got the school to pay for all that. I know the D70s body was a gift from a local photography studio for directing senior picture traffic, but everything else was paid for by our school. Pretty crazy shit.

We have this ooooold camera bag that I found in our (now defunct) dark room, it's from the 70's, and I've been using ti all year. The corners are all frayed out and shit, but it's awesome. My teacher said I could take it with me when I graduate, which is pretty cool, but now I have to fund a DSLR to put in it.

Yeah, I'm really suprised a fucking high school would shell out for high-grade equipment like that.

I've really gotten into photography the past few years. Up until now I've just been using this:

I have $200 saved up, which realistically will never get me close to a DSLR (that'd barely fetch me a good film one), so I'm gonna start looking for small fixed-lens cameras after graduation, I think. If you're just starting on SLRs, I highly recommend the Nikon D70 kit or the Canon Digital Rebel xT kit. Both are great for starters (with presets until you learn to use the real settings) and they're pretty top-notch stuff for being under a thousand dollars. I've taken some gorgeous shots with them.

I had a stalker look going on for about a week between goatee growing with sideburns not clean and goatee not fully grown in yet.

Once the goatee finally grew in correctly, I left it for about a week then had to shave it because of an interview this week. :( I miss it.

Oh, she has Sugar shoes on. I have a couple pairs of those but in different colors. I didn't know they had a pair with hearts on them, how cute. On closer inspection those look like Converse maybe? What kind are those?
