New Jersey sucks ass.
I live here, and I even live in one of the better parts, but it still sucks. Nobody actually wants to venture outside into the soil of NJ so they sit at home and play games, I guess.
Every new retard that comes to this forum seems to be from this awful state, like Advocate and GameGandalf.

My friend lives in Toms River and complains about the exact same thing. Speaking as a North Jersey prick, I love it.
The traffic around the beach areas and on the parkway on the weekends is a nightmare. Worse than LA nightmare.
I'm actually on both sides of the fence, I live up north around Wayne/Paterson during school, but down here in Toms River for the summer, so I get to see the best of both worlds. As for southern jersey...fuck those hicks.
I always found it funny how this state is split in half, and how both sides fucking hate each other. I wonder if any other states are like this.

I've been to other beaches and nice Jersey beaches (Like Brigantine) are REALLY nice, but a lot of places are just usual tourist trap garbage. It's okay if you like, say, buying cheap earrings and eating salt-water taffy. Cape May is the nicest one of those places. You don't get anywhere near the variety of interesting wildlife like you do on the Pacific beaches though, they're generally more interesting to explore. The nice Jersey beaches are good for swimming/bodysurfing/boogieboarding.Quote:

Shore traffic is the shittiest thing. Whenever I drive to school, I take the Turnpike down to Delaware and it's the most boring drive in the world. It's like 50 miles of 2 lane highway with noone on it. Thank god for Opie and Anthony. I really don't mind Jersey once you get past the Northern part, and I do enjoy the beaches for what they are; something acceptable and close...come to NY if you want shitty beaches. I live within walking distance of the beach and I've never set foot on it without the intent to drink.
I went to school at University of Delaware. I should've stayed there. :P

Someone explain this to me. I go to a fairly large school that is in the middle of the Shenandoah Valley here in Virginia (James Madison University). Aside from Princeton, New Jersey doesn't have great colleges. Rutgers is decent at best. New Jersey is a fairly wealthy state, though, because the citizens suck off the teat of New York City. So the parents can afford to send their kids out of state. NJ has on the whole very good public schools so the kids get grades good enough to go to better schools.Quote:

Someone needs to break the stranglehold that a few businesses have here. They abuse the stupidity and faith of those around them to keep out new businesses and factories that could bring in money and keep the interest of the more intelligent.

I left Jersey at a young enough age (bout 11) for Tampa that i'm very nostalgic about New Jersey so it all seems good to me probably because I didn't have to experience driving on the turnpike. Though i'm getting tired of Florida especially around the summer months FUCK it's hot down here.
Speaking of hot. Is anyone else having unnaturally nice weather right now? I've been having cool nice weather recently and it worries me. The only way you get nice weather in Mississippi is if someone else is getting fucked over in another state.
Word, this same thing happens here in PR. We have one of the highest college graduate percentages population-wise on the planet, and they all leave. Doctors, lawyers, engineers.
