Both QFT. That said, the first-console lock thing has to be a load of bunk. They could enforce it by putting a writable section on the disc or requiring internet connection- but that's a good way to piss off everyone: gamers and retailers. I think if Sony actually followed through on this, we'd be seeing EBGames & GameStop dropping PS3 and putting out more Xbox 360 and Wii stuff to fill the empty shelf space.

What if you want the game at a later time but NO, the fucker is out of print? You'll be looking for a used one. EBGames and eBay couldn't help you there. Sometimes when I go to buy a used game or two, I'll buy a new title if it's one that interests me. Retailers love that.

I'm not going to buy a PS3 until after Christmas, thanks largely to the $600 price. So, I won't be putting any PS3 games on my holiday wish list. Nice job Sony.

Nintendo fell from the top spot once, and so can SCE. I don't honestly think SCE will do something so stupid, but who's to know?

What about the games that get limited releases or are older? Many games you can't find new a year after they're released. They'd also have to attempt regulating online sales... :bs:

Theres no way this is true. Sony cant be that damn dumb. You wouldnt even be able to rent a game. Only retards and their retard children would buy a PS3 if this is true. No way this is true, every other website in the world would be reporting this.
