Gamestop is listing the first batch of Wii games for October 2, 2006. None of Nintendo's games are listed so maybe it's some third parties jumping the gun on the console's street date? *-neo

More like a placeholder date. They want to presell the games but don't actually have a real time frame, so October 2 sounds good. They'll tweak it later.
