This isn't the first time Link has been associated with gay culture--he was the inspiration for Xandir P. Wifflebottom, the homosexual video game character in Comedy Central's Drawn Together.

Gay characters have largely been passed over by game designers, with many leading men and ladies being the prototypical alpha male or buxom sexpot. The Sims, Fable, and a few others allow same-sex marriages, but most games fail to even broach the issue. I was really hoping they went with the Wind Waker version of Link.

Did they inform us whether Link was a fag or a dyke at least? That would be some useful new news.

Him being gay would explain why zeldad isn't even in all the games. maybe linke really is the "princess."

Nintendo has been pussing up Link for a long time.

link looked like a girl since the first zelda,in which i erroneously assumed that he was, in fact, zelda until i read the game book.
