Looking to Buy a Harddrive

Since there are some decent sales this weekend, I decided it was time to finally buck up and get a new harddrive for my xbox. The best 2 deals I have seen are:

250GB Western Digital which comes out to be about $80 when everything is said and done (this inclused MAIL IN rebates)

or, what I think is the better of the two:

200GB Maxtor which is $60 flat including shipping.

I was wondering if anybody had any insight on either of these drives, or if they knew of a better deal. I've also heard that 7200RPM can run too hot inside of an xbox, but I've never actually heard anyone say they've had problems with it. Thanks for the help.

Check newegg.com they have crazy HD prices.

I did a quick browse, but I couldn't find anything close to 200GB for $60.

About a week ago I picked up a 120GB Seagate for $60 at BestBuy. No mail-in rebates, and it's Seagate (which is generally pretty good).

Maxtor sucks.
Get Western Digital or Seagate.

why does maxtor suck? all my maxtor HDs work perfectly fine.

I don't know about sucks, but I agree that I'd definitely get WD or Seagate first.

Everyone just stop and listen to marwan because marwan has never had a bad experience with Maxtor.

Maxtor is a piece of shit brand. Had a Maxtor go bad in 3 computers so far. Didn't realize it might have been the brand til I became less stupid with computers. Oh well.
