Tattoos are art and most people, like paintings, prefer to have a velvet Elvis or Dogs Playing Poker. If there's nothing you want permanently inked on your body then good, don't get do it. A lot of people that get tattoos either don't think very far ahead or are just stupid, which why they regret them (or like Mr. Cool Ice just have no idea).Quote:

They don't go away, so anyone that gets one for the heck of it or just picks something off a wall of a shop deserves to look like an idiot.
A friend of mine that used to work in a tattoo shop was telling me about one prissy girl that was getting something small done, but left partway into it because she couldn't stand the pain. Nothing quite like half a tattoo.
Here's one I found:

LOL!! That's so bad, it can't be real.
I think the only acceptable tattoos by my standards are the "R. I. P. (close family member)" because no matter what, they will stay dead, and the tat will be valid.
Not if zombies are real.
I dont mind if people have tatoos on them my only issue is when they get a tatoo from a really really bad artist
like the guy with the star wars stuff that Cheebs brought up
that's just fucking horrible, I mean terrible in every sense of the world let alone as a tatoo
Ill give some one 50 bucks to tatoo Seurat's Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte on their back
I've yet to encounter a single human being that actually looked good with tatoos.

I don't mind tattoo's, not really on women either though I don't like it when they go overboard with them, one here and maybe one there and it's no big deal. The generic ones are dumb though, I want to smack the girls that get those tribal lower back tattoos just because everyone else has them.
My dad has his upper arms sleeved and got my name tattooed to his chest when I was little. He has some pretty cool and well done stuff, and to the best of my knowledge he drew them all himself. He got a lot of them years ago and with the exception of one of them he likes all of them and just got the one he didn't like redone into something else.
I've considered getting a few but havn't had the money. If I go for them I'll just do my upper arms so that they're not visible with the standard t-shirt on. Getting a tattoo you can't easily cover up isn't a good idea.
