My two notable purchases of the month, using money I got from graduation and some other savings. A MacBook for school in the fall (base model) that I got with the student discount, $100 in Apple gift certificates meant to pacify me after an iPod problem a year or two ago, and the free iPod nano -> $180. The total for the laptop and warranty was down over $350 total. Whee savings. Also, a silk pajama set I got on sale because somebody mispriced them. The others were on sale from $98 to $48, but the only size S they had was $14.99. I win.

Only thing that upsets me about the MacBook is the lack of 13" cases out there. I ended up having to buy a 15.4" sleeve to use for now since none of the normal Apple-accessory-manufacturers have jumped on the MacBook yet and I couldn't find any 13" stuff at the two stores I checked.

Think you just need to give them more time, IIRC it took a few months to get cases out that fit the new Ipods. The 13" MacBook seem to be very popular so I am sure something will be out soon. Samsonite makes a nice small case that I use for my VAIO, should fit the MackBook.

Well, I don't doubt that things will be out, it was just a little disappointing to not find anything that fit well at launch. The Powerbook and one of the iBooks had custom-fit cases out by some of those companies who usually make Apple accessories, so I was wondering why the MacBook got no such love.

I tried a VAIO case that advertised 13", but it was too tight. COuldn't find anything other than 15.4, 12 and 17" cases.

Heh, truth. The two digital novels are the only cool ideas I have seen for the PSP. Roco Loco looks neat too, but I am so glad I didn't have to pay for a PSP, I can just use DJ's.
