Don't call it a comeback, bitches. God bless Tony Romo. It's nice to have a QB for the first time since week 1.

What's sad is if I had started Plummer you would have had a run for your money. Who the hell expects San Fran to stifle anyone? Not me, and I'm a fan.
The Fighting Sauves 74.16, Geo's Argonauts 76.17
Matchup

DODONA (TNL) -- Geo's Argonauts (4-5) could only look on as his comfortable lead continued to shrink, thanks to a stellar performance by the Seattle Seahawks defense of the Fighting Sauves (5-4), but in the end the lead proved too much to overcome and the Argonauts came out victorious in the most tightly-contested matchup of the week.
Both teams in fact delivered a strong scoring defense, Geo's Jacksonville Jaguars defense was amazingly only 3 points shy of the Fighting Sauves' extraordinary shutout and 9 sacks courtesy of the aforementioned Seahawks defensive unit. The Argonauts benefited from stronger play at the runningback position, thanks to the workhorse tandem of Clinton Portis and Chester Taylor, which proved critical against the solid team-scoring effort the Fighting Sauves exhibited.
Next in this brutal stretch in the schedule for Geo's Argonauts are the Funknuggets (6-3), having just knocked off the Stormy Waters Otters (6-3) from the top spot in the league. The Funknuggets have impressively crossed the century scoring mark in two consecutive games, the 205.24 point-total being second only to the Otters' blistering 212.97 in that frame, so the Argonauts had better deliver in their efforts to stay in the playoff race.
The Fighting Sauves don't have it much easier, as they try to bounce back from this loss against another of the league's better teams in the Maniacal Monkeys (6-3).
Notes
A double-digit scoring effort including a shutout of the opposing team on Monday Night Football is no stranger to the Lofa Tatupu-led Seahawks defense, as they did the exact same thing last season at Philadelphia in Week 13. Clinton Portis' impressive 38-yard touchdown run brings his total to 7 for the season, the third-highest mark in the league currently behind only LaDainian Tomlinson (12) and Larry Johnson (9). Chester Taylor ranks fourth in the league in rushing yardage with 708 yards.
I can't believe how close that game was and if "Mr. Clutch" Adam Vinateri made those two field goals I probably would have squeezed by with a win...or if Cadiallic Williams decided to be good a RB again.
I squeaked by Stormy this week and next up I've got the tough Argonauts. Hopefully my WR core will make up for my complete lack of a RB game again.
Heh, I was too into the SNF game to realize you lost because of those uincharacteristically missed Vinny FGs. I really lucked out there, you only needed one to go in.
Speaking of FGs, I was rooting all night for the Raiders to just score one to end the shutout by that Seahawks defense. Now I can go back to rooting for that sorry franchise to burn to the ground, which it's doing a nice job of at the moment. :)
You outscored the hottest offense of the last two weeks and the highest of the season overall, don't sell yourself short. I have some roster decisions to make, especially as I'll need every point for our match-up this week.
APC, check your team page.
Hell yes. The Islanders overcome a crazy 45 point day from Carson Palmer to stun the STARS 103 (and counting) to 89.
Heh...I was wondering why the hell you were talking crazy talk about hockey teams until I remembered your fantasy football team name.
By the way I would just like to take the opportunity to say fuck you to Mike Shanahan for benching Mike Bell on gameday, instead of the day before like a good coach should. Right now I have no idea how I'm doing, other than Chad Johnson FINALLY having a game he is capable of.
You're up 70-58.
