Omen

So Omen comes out on Armageddon tomorrow. If I can brave the swarms of man-eating locusts, nuclear explosions, and demon armies I may go out and see this. Only problem is I remember trying to watch the original and getting completely bored with it. I feel this one may have the same effect on me.

It's getting horrid reviews all over the place.

WTC footage should not be used in this piece of shit.

The retarded director's trying to defend it as "art", yet it's a scene-by-scene remake of a movie starring D-list actors, made solely to cash in on the whole 6/6/06 date thing.

Ebert & Roeper must be batshit insane, because they said this was better than the original.

Looks terrible, most movies simply have no reason to be re-made. The hills have eyes and the fog come to mind.

I've never been able to actually finish the original, which could mean I'm wasting my time with this, if its really similar, I dont know.

This has also been getting a couple of decent reviews from what I saw at Rotten Tomatoes....

I was sitting in the theater waiting to see Xmen 3. We sat through all the trailers and The Omen was the last trailer. I got a nosebleed 2 seconds after the trailer started. Wierd.
