ID theft people are getting better
I just got a very real looking email from "ebay" telling me that someone in India had tried to log into my account and that I should go and fill something out for the FIT. It also said that if I didn't I'd be held accountable for anything that persion in India did.
Layout wise it looks very real. Has the banner, small print, etc. The email came from admin@ebay.reply-msg07348.com

So, expecting that it was bullshit I openned my own link to ebay and logged in. I checked my ebay and I don't have a message about this on myebay. So I clicked the link on the email. It asked me to relog in. -_' Real ebay keeps you logged in as long as the browser isn't closed. So for fun I put in a fake pass and ID and it took me to a page to give them all my credit card info. Apparently Monkeybutt, with the password of Asshole is having ID theft problems too.
Finally I clicked on the links in the small print. They all go to Ebay canada. I'd like to think that the real ebay would have enough sense to link me to the ebay I actually use.
