Fantastic show.
I have a feeling like people will either "get it" or "not get it".
Anybody else catch the premier episode?

Never heard of it... when's it on, and what channel?
It's on HBO after Entourage on Sundays.
I liked the first show, it could be a really great series.
I think it has potential. I like the old-school sitcom feel to it, and lil' Jimmy Norton and Mike Haggerty were the bestest. It's ratings actually came in higher than Tourgasm, even though the show is getting trashed a bit in the press. People need to realize it was the PILOT episode, the edges will get smoothed a bit.
On a similar topic, I was unable to find a SINGLE damn local retailer carrying Norton's One Night Stand DVD that came out Tuesday after driving around for an hour. I'll remember that when I'm watching him on Leno tonight.....
The pilot didn't blow me away, but it definitely made me laugh really hard a few times. It's very "Roseanne," but that's not a bad thing. Best new traditional sitcom in a while, I can say that.
That would be why I didn't know what you were talking about... I don't have, and have no desire to ever get, HBO. The only thing worth a damn on that channel I've seen is Curb Your Enthusiasm, and I just get the DVDs for that.Quote:

Earthquake is awful. He's every cliche of the fat black comic (speaking of which... release the Patrice Oneal one). I'm surprised you haven't heard of him, though.
The show definitely has potential. My favorite part was when Louie's brother gave Louie's daughter a handgun for her birthday present. Looking forward to the next couple of episodes.
That's the wife's brother, not Louie's brother.Quote:
