I just have to say AVP2 is one of the rare games that actually scared me. Games like Doom3 etc just make me jump from time to time, but this game made me scared to turn a corner or even take a few steps.

Best Alien game to date IMO.

Was it really Square's only platformer, though? I mean, you could consider FM Gun Hazard one, I guess. I'm having trouble thinking.

Well, it's the only strict platformer. Brave Fencer Musashi, for example, had some platform elements, but I still wouldn't brand it a platformer.

I have been hooked on playing alien 3 for the genesis again, such a great game.
