Also, I can't remember what thread it was in, but I remember you said you had a 36" 16:9 Sony CRT that was exclusive to the Middle East, and I was all like "lol, no way. Doan be redigyouluz." Then I looked it up, and indeed it was listed on Sony's site, so I was all, "Dude, you were right. WTF." But since, I have learned that Sony just measures the same TV differently depending on the territory. So, for the US, they measure the Viewing Area (34"), and for other regions -- including yours -- they measure the size of the tube itself (36"), but it's still the exact same TV. Okay, phew, glad I got that cleared up for everyone who was on the edge of their seat. ;)

lol, i can't believe you remembered that thread :)

and it's interesting how they measure the screen differnetly based on regions.

anyways, soon enoug i'll have a 50" 1080p LCD :D
