I'm posting this up for Brisco. It's something I did for work. Helicopters are a pretty bland subject, but the more detailed illustrations I get to do are a lot of fun. All illustrator. over 500 fucking paths. =)

Yeah you could, if you had as much time as you needed and someone was paying you to figure out how to do it. There is no other way I would have had any inclination to do something like this. That is the third illustration style bird I've done and each gets a bit better and faster than the last. It's a great way to learn illustrator, I'll tell you that.

illustrator is a lot of fun to use. that is pretty rad, JM.

They're both great but that second one is amazing, possibly my favorite thing you've ever done. Playing around with ink and pens lately has really made me appreciate how talented you really are.

The little guy was going to be us using savvy to catch fish and the big "American" character (sorry) was going to be our competition using bells and whistles to catch fish but not know how to reel them in properly. Apparently now my company wants it to be set in the Amazon... yes. Because that makes so much sense to a Canadian agency servicing Canadian businesses (primarily). JM helped me sort out some of the proportions.

I don't think there is anything I can't draw in illustrator given enough time. Half of the shit I do I use one hand to do in Illustrator. Becomes second nature. I'm just not as good at drawing as you are, so it would be a little more figuring out for me as opposed to a tenured artiste.
