Most of the drawing I've been doing is for illo tests
Guess who this one is for?
Bonus: Guess what I get to do next? Hint: Yeller's worked on it at one point, but in TV. Give up? Word Girl

I wanna see red ninja vs blue ninja like in Ninja Gaiden.
Nice butt, too.
Haha, no kidding? Cool!
There was a really nicely drawn WG comic that PBS put out as a promo during the first season, here's their motion comic version: http://pbskids.org/wordgirl/games/comicbook/
HORRIBLY JPEG'd on their site, but you click the panels and they zoom in and look a bit better. Just, um, turn your sound off. PBS Kids' sites are way noisy.
Holy shit it has been a while. I've been busy busy busy with a new job and lots of freelance. This has eaten into my scanning, and posting time but not my making stuff time. I give up sleep and domestic chores before I stop drawing. =]
Anyway, I've been working on some big things that are taking a while, but I did this this week and I thought I'd share.

I've been in school, so I haven't been around much. As one would expect, you get assignments like still life and cubist self portraits, which are regrettable, but it has been something to actually handle oil paints and brushes instead of doing everything in photoshop. I'm hoping as this progresses, it will inform my digital work and get me somewhere at a competitive level.
Furyfox. You should work in oil paints instead of Photoshop. These look really good. Join the anti-digital revolution! Together, we'll create a world that was there before every schlub with a tablet forgot. It'll be a slower world, but it'll be a better world.
JM... You'll join me too, right? You're already there!
Hero! You're a box of zee watuh colluhs and a few brushes away! A block of watercolor paper, a box of even the most fancy watercolors, and as many brushes as you can stomach are all much cheaper than a computer, a tablet, and a copy of Photoshop.
Together, we will change the world...
But Finchu, I have the tablet, computer, and PhotoShops. I have no blocks of watercolors =/
(plus I'm quite terrible with watercolor)
I have some acrylics but I'm equally awful with those.
Yep - a schlub with a tablet!
