Man, get a nice long pointed brush that you will use for nothing but line work and practice. You will get the hang of it quick, and there is nothing like the thick/thin line variation you will get. Since you are used to the pressure sensitivity of the wacom stylus and the results you get with it, you will take to it like nobody's business. Do some straight up inking for practice, pick up a Pentel brush pen. Really portable and it has a nice REAL brush on it that gets huge line variation. (just don't watercolor over the ink, it is VERY water soluble).
