Nothing like going into Orbit on 1970's technology. Better yet, 1970's technology in 2006.
NASA has its problems, most of them are in Washington, not in Houston/Pasadena/Florida.

70's technology isn't all bad. Some of that older stuff is made with a lot more care than some of the shit we get now. At least on a basic consumer level.
I would hope at least they have been allowed to update their computers, and comunication devices.
Lets hope it has more power than my TI - 83 calc in that 70's technology then... j/k
Isn't Hubble coming down in 2010? I think it's being replaced by the next-gen scope anyway though.Quote:

Peking University is world-class. And a lot of Chinese universities are picking up stem cell research to get a competitive advantage in the wake of Bush's war on science.
Just admit it, you spewed some bullshit, got called out on it, everything is fine.
The majority of Chinese universities aren't Peking.
I was recently reading something in the Times which was talking about Chinese higher education and how it was lacking. I'll try to find the article on my next day off (Wed.) and we can go from there.
The majority of American universities aren't Harvard, that doesn't mean the majority are trash.
Tsinghua is another prestigious school in China. Same with the University of Hong Kong.
Chinese universities are not as good as ours but neither is anybody else's. They're still good, though.
I don't know. Places like Germany, Japan, England, Swedian, all make some nice shit. I'd like to think at least a few of those guys were taught in house.Quote:

I'm pretty surprised that I couldn't find more international college rankings with a casual search. Is there an American institution or maybe an EU one that has an extensive international comparison published?
