Gradius Collection is great, and Alpha Anthology sounds solid, but they're collections.

No way it could be anything but HL2 Episode 1.

...and that reminds me to vote for May now that I've played New SMB. Blood Money > New SMB.

Titan Quest. Just been really enjoying it, it's like Diablo Lite. Half the calories and almost the same great taste.

To be fair, haven't played HL Ep1, because I've never gotten HL2 to work properly on my computer in the first place.

gamewise, this month had nothing, i gave big brain acadmey a nod because its cute and i finally can get it to read my 4's, but really this month was all about guild wars' dragon festival and city of heroes' issue 7,my scrapper has a dragons head and digitigrade reptillian legs, the best costume generator in mmo's got better, and mayhem missions are a lot of fun.

Naw, Alpha Anthology is actually a really rad collection if you like the games (I personally prefer other Capcom fighters to the Alpha series, but whatever). Each of the games is, as far as I can tell and have heard, exactly arcade perfect. No load times at all once you're in a game. The games even have all the classic bugs and exploits present in the arcade versions plus a dipswitch menu that lets you toggle them on and off to your liking. It's pretty clever and really what Capcom needs to do with all of their fighting game compilations. If only there was an equally-good compilation of Street Fighter 2 games on consoles...

(And no, Street Fighter Anniversary Collection is not one.)

So you're telling me Capcom managed to release an exact copy of two games that they have already made? And they added the ability to toggle the glitches? Shit, I take it back. A+ effort.

Yes, they did exactly what the hardcore fighting game fans want. And there are five games on the disc, not two.

Alpha Anthology. I can't describe how bro it is to play Alpha 2 in near arcade perfect form on home. The closest we've ever had to this was the Saturn version.

Gradius Collection. Although Gradius III is broken with excessive slowdown, everything else is great- most notably, you get a portable Gradius IV, and this is the first time Gradius Gaiden appears in the USA.

Damn, I haven't played anything on that list yet. But I'd guess it'll be either the Gradius collection or the Alpha collection once I play them. With an outside chance that I'll dig NFL Head Coach.

lol. So Saturn Alpha 2, 3, and Pocket Fighter aren't arcade perfect on Saturn? It's nice to have them all on one collection and all, but well, I have to agree that a new game should def beat this in the polls...

As for Street Fighter, you'll have to wait for the next Capcom Collections which will supposedly have a perfect port of ST...and they wonder why people emulate?
