RPGs with Female Leads

Are there any RPGs, either Japanese or western, where the main character is female? My wife is still bitter over the fact that you couldn't be a woman in Fable. She really liked Morrowind and Oblivion though. I think she might enjoy JRPGs, because, as a woman, she likes sappy, contrived stories. However, it might take a female lead to get her to try one. Any suggestions?

FFX-2 is horrid. It will turn Yoshi's wife into a cookie monster.

Yoshi and the Cookie Monster... I smell sitcom.

What about RPGs where you can play as a tranny?
