T2 3D would be incomplete without the actual humans who fill in the gaps. Is this the same way?

That's what 4d Supposedly is. Big screen 3d with Moving Chairs, and maybe environmental effects. There is a Shrek and Jimmy Nutron one in Universal, and a few of the Disney 3d movies (Philharmagic, Tough To Be a Bug, Honey I shrunk the audience) are as well.
Nope, it definitely didn't have anything other than moving chairs. No dripping water or things sticking out of the seat like the ones at Disney parks.
Watching on youtube is pretty damn boring.
