What does running Office have to do with games? Nothing, it's comparing apples to oranges.Quote:

That is a subjective and worthless question. Nintendo fanboys will of course say no. Of course you're comparing a 1st gen 360 game to a 2nd or 3rd gen Ps2 game to a 2nd or 3rd gen N64 game.Quote:

I think the comparison's about as fair as you're going to get. GRAW's not exactly a launch title. I could have use a PS1 title 1 year in from launch instead of Goldeneye and the difference would have been even more extreme.
There's no question that the new 360 games look a lot better than last gen games, and it's a good thing. And there's still a lot of progress to be made. But there's diminishing returns, and a generation or two from now the differences will look very minor.

Huh? Graphics is part of what a new generation of hardware can do and improve upon, along with other features (such as online, etc).Quote:

The ps3 is equally appealing since 100% of the ps2 games I play are compilations and 2-d fighters. The wii offers some thing different and I really don't mind gimmicks if done right. I have really enjoyed the DS all in all, Are some games gimmicky? Sure, do I care? Not really.
Your opinion doesn't change the fact that most agree that the games, overall, haven't turned out gimmicky, nor the fact that it's getting some decent third party support.Quote:

GTA3 is ugly as sin but the horsepower of the PS2 allowed the game to be what it is. that's the biggest problem have with the Wii I think. Not that the graphics will look bad( They won't if you enter with fair expectations) but becuase so much of the new stuff being done on the 360 and PS3 won't be possible on the Wii.Quote:
