IGN reviewed SFII, and the hack blew it in the first paragraph:
Nice. So SNK and Third Strike don't exist in his little world. He should stick to Madden.Quote:

It's not only that the d-pad is trash, it's also where it's located. The 360 controller is extremely comfortable when you're using the analog sticks, but extremely uncomfortable when you're trying to use the d-pad for something like a 2-d fighter. Maybe it's just the way I hold the controller, but it seriously takes away from my enjoyment of the game.
IBTN
This is very true, but its part of the trade off. The 360 controller has the perfect analog stick setup while the PS2/3 has an awful analog stick setup which they refuse to change for god knows why. Its the opposite with the d-pad though, but for a vast majority of games out there, I'd rather have the perfect analog stick setup. I mean, they could make a controller designed just for fighting games, but that would take time and money.Quote:

I blame Capcom more than anything. They were aware that people were waiting for this game to come out for XBLA and could have taken advantage by marketing a special edition arcade stick for the 360. Capcom just didn't care. If they did, they wouldn't have passed the netcode programming job to some developer noobs.Quote:

Oh yeah, I definately agree. I'd much rather have the analog sticks be comfortable. I'm just saying that for me to enjoy playing Street Fighter, I'm going to have to get a stick or something.Quote:
