Official Xbox Live Arcade Thread

Yoshi my connection lagged like fucking mad when we met up for a SF2 match so i had to quit....plus i was too lazzy to get up and connect my headset. ;0

hopefully i get a better connection next time.

D/L'ed Galaga. Pretty faithful to the original. Kudos to Korly's score of 184,000+, that's going to be tough to take down.

now that SF2, Capcom needs to bring out Street Fighter 3 and Puzzle Fighter on XBLA.

The XBLA 50MB size limit has to be increased before we start seeing those titles. Even with a limit of 256MB I don't know if there's enough room for Third Strike. Puzzle Fighter would definitely be doable with that new limit.

SFII HF is around 8 MB on CPS (and damn near the limit on XBLA), so an arcade game that's over 8 MB in original form probably won't be making it over. We can kiss Super SFII (over 21 MB) goodbye for now.

I'd think 256 MB could still fit the original SF III and maybe even 2nd Impact. Third Strike is probably pushing it though.

At this moment it looks like the DOA4 joystick or nothing if you want to play SFII HF on the 360. The D-Pad and the analog stick don't cut it, and the button layout isn't exactly the best.

yah i know. and i thought the limit was 64MB? ...It's really stupid that MS limited the XBLA games to 50 or 64MB just in favor of being able to copy them on an XBOX 360 memory card....afterall, how man people copy XBLA games on the memory card? dumb if you ask me.

i hope so. SOTN's music alone won't fit on the memory card....well maybe, but then they won't have much space to work with for the actual game.

Someone beat me. I forget who, but they got like 235,000. Maybe it was Joust. I'll check later.
