The Internet in 1996

I used to go to gamespot a lot in '97. They were pretty organized. And ign when they were in their infancy and they were pretty organized too.

Here's gamefan; I don't know if that's actually '96 or not though; following links led to articles from 2000.

I wish web archive had text searching, I really want to pull up my first site, Nintendo 64 Game Planet. It was on Geocities though, so I have no way of really finding it. :cry:

I also tried to look at N64HQ, that site was awesome as fuck, but apparently Nintendo took the domain over and scrubbed its existence off the web. I hate Nintendo so much.

If it was on Geocities, its probably still there. My site is, and I created that sucker back in '98. Still gets a lot of hits, too.
