He's kind of like Maddox but not as funny
I go to archive.org every day. I absolutely love that place. It's fun to see what the websites started out as, and how they evolved over time.
I don't give a shit about mcdonalds.com :chick:
I remember that useless internet. :)
Now the internet is slightly more useful. Also not shitty-looking.
I remember the 90s of webdom. I remember those BBS reply boards. GameFan had one before they had chat. Also remember how fan sites were all horrible colors that clashed and were hard to read. And people loved the fire.gif.
Speaking of Gamefan, I remember it being ahead of the game by a bit. They were one of the first sites to pretty well organized.
I also remember ICQ and how a lot of people locally used AOL because they didn't know you could use chatrooms for free with mirc.
The lego site looked sweet.
I hope that's not your webpage. The Cheats exploits are worth some chuckles. It reminds me of one of those plastic figurines they gave away in the 80s with an Arby Kids meal when they still sold Kids meals. Apparently, only Arbys doesn't serve children, because I haven't noticed a kid's meal on the menu for awhile.Quote:

Aside from gamefaqs, my earliest internet memories come from looking up various glitches/tricks for Goldeneye, Ocarina of Time, and the old AKI wrestling games on n64cc.com (A.K.A. N64 Code Center).
I wonder if this site and its many sequels were a precursor/source of inspiration to ytmnd.com?Quote:

lol, I remember the netlink. I had one of those. It came with like 50 feet of phone cord.
I remember finding some site of full of scanned porn mags with it. Something like 50 of them. That was amazing back in middle school.
So who checked out gamefan.com yet?
I wish web archive had text searching, I really want to pull up my first site, Nintendo 64 Game Planet. It was on Geocities though, so I have no way of really finding it.
I also tried to look at N64HQ, that site was awesome as fuck, but apparently Nintendo took the domain over and scrubbed its existence off the web. I hate Nintendo so much.
I looked for dailyradar.com's Shenmue review to cheer you up, but it hasn't been archived.Quote:

If it was on Geocities, its probably still there. My site is, and I created that sucker back in '98. Still gets a lot of hits, too.Quote:

2 meg size limit ftw.
If you remember your user/pass, you can probably login.
I hear allocated space is up to 30megs now.
No, I totally don't.Quote:

I might have deleted it, honestly, but if I could figure out the section I could find it on archive.org.
This was my first attempt at a website, but it ended up being a place for me to dump all of my pictures to post on TNL. I think I started it when I was 13.
lol
LOL at the GameGo! magazine in the baggie!

Man, in 1996 I was still dialing up boards. Shame someone didn't archieve them.
But it was cool back then :(Quote:
