You can go on forever with examples like this. Well this, well that, well guess what, Nolan hasn't made a bad batman movie yet, he has only made one that was fucking outstanding.

Dark Knight could very well be awful, but the most anyone has seen from it are a few still images that look to be in the same vein of Batman Begins, so quit your belly aching until you can actually form a worthwhile and educated opinion about the film that isn't based off of a few still images. The same shit happened with the Transformers movie. "WAAA LOOK AT THE FLAMES ON OPTIMUS", "WAAA MICHAEL BAY IS DIRECTING", "WAAA THEY AREN'T USING THE ORIGINAL DESIGNS". And I said the same thing to them, stfu until you actually see something substantial from the movie.

I agreed with BrandX until the Transformers part. There is just no way that movie is going to be good.

Whether Transformers ends up being amazing or a huge pile doesn't matter, it's that over a year before release people were judging the film based off of a few still images that didn't indicate anything about the movie. And it's the same shit with Dark Knight.

I have always been a huge fan of Batman, but I'm not about to bitch and moan about "OMG HE HAS PROJECTILES LAME WHY DOES HE NEED ARMOR ON HIS SUIT HE SHOULD BE DRESSED IN BLUE AND GREY LATEX HE'S A DETECTIVE DUH HIS BIKE HAS GUNS THATS STUPID", since we know absolutely nothing about the movie besides a very small handful of images.

As someone who works in advertising and marketing I don't feel outraged whenever I read that a movie is going to have product placement. Having a Coke dispensor in the background instead of a generic Cola dispensor is better in that it pulls the movie closer to reality (a reality where we have Coke and Pepsi dispensors on every block almost).

But I don't want to see Batman playing PS3 before going to fight crime. Maybe if there's a kid somewhere and his bedroom has one it will be OK, but keep that shit to a non-annoying minimum.

you know, it is ok to have to have an early opinion on things. like if a game is coming out and you see a couple scans and you are like omg! that looks so awesome! same thing for a movie, see a couple of pictures and all you can do is judge the art direction, and that's all i've done. i mean did you see that bike and it's obnoxious fucking guns, cause when i think batman, i think big fucking guns. and the suit is making him more like iron "bat" man. plus i'm just sick of a suit change every movie. he's like the runway model of super heroes. just cause i think some things look cheesy doesn't mean i think the movie is going to suck.

Just for once, I'd like to see the outfit like the comics in black and without fruit-of-the-looms. Can we get that this time Hollywood? No...? oh yeah, I forget the design artist needs a job and just have to get some ideas going, soooooo.....

I guess no one read the comic Dark Knight Returns. He had kevlar underneath his suit. You can have an opinion. But I don't want to hear you say OMG THAT CLIP IS JAWESOME! When the trailer is released in December. That ticket has been revoked. I hated some of the things they did in X-Men, Transformers, and Batman Begins. But I held out judgment, I said I'll wait and see the final product.
