I just picked up an Acer Aspire Dual Core laptop at CompUSA for a bargain $599 after rebates, and was offered a 2 year full service warranty for $140. I was told that I could only buy it at the time of purchase so I did, figuring that if I decided it wasn't worth it I could just "return" it. Is anyone familiar with Acer's warranty program? It doesn't seem very cost efficient to pay $140 for a warranty on a $600 product.
