I wish the enemy designs were better. They couldn't possibly look any more generic and lacking in personality than they do now. A flying circle with some triangles on the outside that shoots lasers from somewhere isn't the most compelling enemy. That was fine on the SNES because it's all that could handle, but here it just looks amateurish. I'm also not crazy about how middling and dull the encounters look, like the space combat equivalent of a random battle in an RPG (though that's pretty much what they are).
